Swindon Ladies sink Pompey with last minute goal.

Swindon Town Ladies bagged their first win in the league with a 4-3 win over Portsmouth Ladies. The winner came in the last minute much to the delight of the ladies in red. Gallery:

A valiant effort effort The Valiants but Town are victorious.

A quiet first half ended 0-0 but a quick goal in the second half by Brad Barry on 47 minutes stirred the mix and livened the game up. This was The Valiants first defeat in the league, and also the first league goal they have conceded. Gallery:

Swindon v Millwall

Town’s late, late very late show.

Talk about leaving it late. Swindon Town were 2-0 DOWN and out at half time but somehow recovered to draw with a feisty Millwall, the second coming with in seconds of the final whistle. Nick Ajose (63 Pen),Michael Doughty (90 +3:33) were the Swindon hero’s. Trouble flared outside the ground after the game. Gallery:

Swindon Town Ladies fall at third attempt.

Swindon Town Ladies eventually played their FA Cup tie with the Spurs Ladies after the fixture was moved to Royal Wootton Bassett’s new football complex at Ballards Ash to avoid a third postponement. The match finished 4-1 to the London side after a battling show by the home side and two rather flukish goals.

Swindon’s late, late, late show

Swindon left it very late to snatch victory in the match against Crewe. Town came out winners with a 4-3 score line thanks to goals from Nicky Ajose and Jonathan Obika. Gallery:

Martin Ling started his tenure as Swindon Town Manager with a visit to Rochdale. Sportswindon for, the first tome in many seasons, dusted off the passport and ventured into the north of England to cover the match. Town were knocked out of the FA Cup 3-1. Gallery:
