Swindon’s football season got underway as the town’s two major clubs took to the pitch at the Webb’s Wood Stadium at South Marston. Town, with the new manager David Flitcroft in his first game in charge, came out winners 7-1. Gallery:

Town’s late, late very late show.
Talk about leaving it late. Swindon Town were 2-0 DOWN and out at half time but somehow recovered to draw with a feisty Millwall, the second coming with in seconds of the final whistle. Nick Ajose (63 Pen),Michael Doughty (90 +3:33) were the Swindon hero’s. Trouble flared outside the ground after the game. Gallery:
