©calyx_Pictures_Swindon_v_Carlisle_0836Town came within a goal of making it a unique treble of 5-0 home wins as they swept aside Carlisle in the same way as Tranmere & Portsmouth before them.

The result leaves the Robins nicely positioned in 5th – just five points off the automatic promotion places with a game in hand.

Andy Williams was first to score again with a sublime piece of control and finishing in the 16th minute.©calyx_Pictures_Swindon_v_Carlisle_0686

That was followed up by four-goal hero James Collins’ header twenty minutes later before Williams sealed the points with his second just after the break.

And by the time Raphael De Vita made it four, Town fans were already chanting “We Want Five!”.

“I am, of co©calyx_Pictures_Swindon_v_Carlisle_0947urse, very happy for my team and the supporters,” commented Di Canio.

“Not conceding again gives me the greatest pleasure. But we still have twenty-one games to go and games will not always be so easy.”
